Creatures : Blender to fallout 3

Does anyone know of any tutorials/guides out there for creating a new creature. I know how to do most of it from creating the base mesh the skeleton, vertice weighting and animation but it would be nice to have a reference as im now trying to get the creature ingame and certain stuff would be hand to look at like adding the havok constraints - 2lines in the niftools wiki doesnt help much, to any additional info like why certain skeletons eg Bloatfly have a large box around them. Also parenting of object for the skeleton and how it corralates to the combined skeleton mesh.

 

I dont want to be just handed info as most people are too busy as is and im capable of researching things myself but if people could point me in the right direction that would be great though if you do wish to help out that would be great too.
