ell46
I've got a graphic problem I hope someone can help, if I can explain it. The difference in graphic detail seems to be quite drastic, if I use low I get nice clear complexions which means younger looking characters but washed out looking armour and horrible black eyes, if I up it to medium I get nice coloured eyes, great looking armour but they turn into wrinklies, what is the best way to get rid of the wrinkles and keep the nice eyes and armour? The devs selected textures and "appearances" for all the vanilla game displays. The "less airbrushed / more realistic" look for faces at higher resolutions was intentional. There are a variety of mods for both textures alone (e.g. JB's: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15 ) and NPC appearances (e.g. DragonAge Resedigned: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=686 , which includes "Dracomies True Textures"). Some combination of these approaches might get you where you want to go, but I think it'll take a lot of trial and error.
ell46
OK thank you for those links I'll have to experiment, at least I know it's not my fault having the wrong settings. Even the dog looks like it's made of plastic.
