malone423
I have followed Gopher's guide for cleaning up master files. I'm aware that the official files (the esms of update and the DLC's) have to be cleaned up from time to time, since I follow Wrye Bash's advice to have them cleaned. I already had the esms cleaned the first time Wrye Bash advised me to without problems. But after putting a few mods, Wrye Bash advised cleaning the DLC esm files. The problem I am experiencing now is that I am not getting any prompts from Tes5edit to save the edited modules. It is as if they were unchanged as Wrye Bash's recommendation to have the DLC master files cleaned is still there. Tsewe
Eehhff... I got some problems too.My game was working fine. Then I cleaned the master files, following Gopher's video, then I cleaned other mods. Now my game freezes every 10 seconds, and LOOT tells me Dawnguard.esm needs to be cleaned. If I try to clean it up with TES5 Edit (again), when I quit the program to save the file, it tells me "unable to rename the file dawnguard.esm - cannot save" ...
