Easy Move Items

I'm fairly sure that this isn't possible. Sure, you could change the "askquantityat" setting to a really high number so sell 100+ of an item at once, but you would also be unable to seperate those items without dropping them all and only picking up what you wanted to sell. Unfortunately there is no way to change gamesettings via script, so any time you wanted to change the "askquantityat" setting you would have to restart oblivion after making the change in the CS. Even if you were fine with this arrangement, it would still have a confirm message when selling or buying, to my knowledge there is no way to get rid of this message.

Long story short, the way it was handled in Morrowind for whatever reason doesn't seem to be possible. I believe this is because the default carrying capacity wasn't large enough where people would be selling 30-50 stacks of 5+ items at a time. At most you'd have maybe an extra set or two of armor and some misc crap. This would explain clutter being almost worthless, and merchantile skill leveling so slowly. This is also probably why the default inventory system with large text and high computer resource usage was seen as being sufficient for play.

Hi

and thanks for answering so far.

The problem with restarting Oblivion can be solved I think. I have a mod (Easydrop) which had the aim to move always one item when shift-clicking and normal trade with just clicking. Unfortunately it always drops just one item not seperating between shift-clicking and normal clicking.

But this could be a startingpoint. I did want to inspect the plugin, but for this I have to spent some time in learning how to create mods for Oblivion.

I have attached the mod for the case you or someone else likes to try it.

c u and have fun.
