FOMM .12.3 acting... strange

Ok so I've got a .fomod version of FWE and a few other .fomod's in my FOMM /mods folder... I click on the package manager button and FOMM stutters for a moment (presumably sifting through the contents of the .fomods)

Once the package manager window loads up, FOMM is extremely sluggish taking a good 10-20 seconds to register my selecting any of the detected .fomods. I finally get the FWE 5.04 .fomod selected in the window, and click activate. FOMM starts doing its thing... at a snails pace. Half an hour later I think all of 4 or 5 files have been shuffled around and I'm sitting at 5% completion for the activation of FWE...

Checking my processes it shows FOMM as only utilizing 50% CPU usage (presumably 100% of 1 core on a dual core system?) and a whopping 45mB of RAM.

Has anybody else run into a problem similar to this? A generic search for 'FOMM' didn't turn up anything relevant. So I apologize if this topic has indeed been covered.

Edit:

Just checked and of the 4 .fomods I've got, only two of them seem to be extremely sluggish with FOMM... FWE and MMM. Just clicking on their names causes the program to temporarily freeze. The other two seem to have no issues at all.

Scripted mod packages made for the older versions of FOMM may have issues installing on the newer 12.x series, due to some new processing fixes. Until those packages are updated to work with the newer versions, you may need to revert back to FOMM 11.9 to install them, or install them manually.
