kieranfoy
<P>Yep, you heard me, steampunk.<BR><BR>And assassins. How cool can yah get?<BR><BR>Do note: this requires retexturing and adding meshes to armor meshes, which involves weighting. If you can't do that, all you can do is give emotional <BR><BR>support (which is appreciated.)<BR><BR>So, it works like this. There are two version, a light and a heavy.<BR><BR>The Light: You take the shrouded armor (using the UFF replacer for the female mesh) and remove all the buckles, straps, knee-guards, pauldrons, everything that can be removed EXCEPT the belt. Then, you retexture it brown, a nice dark (but not too dark) brown, maybe using the leathery brown texture here: <A class=bbc_url title="External link" href="http://webtreats.mysitemyway.com/seamless-natural-grunge-textures/" rel="nofollow external">http://webtreats.mys...runge-textures/</A><BR><BR>Then you color the belt brass colored, like with this texture: <A class=bbc_url title="External link" href="http://www.noctua-graphics.de/images/download/tex/metal/brass01.jpg" rel="nofollow external">http://www.noctua-gr...tal/brass01.jpg</A> or possibley the dwarven armor texture. Merging a gear from one of the daedric gates or suchlike into the belt as a buckle is also a plus.<BR><BR>Then, you merge onto the armor the pit leather boots and guantlets, also retextured to the brass texture.<BR><BR>The mantle-like area around the shoulders? Brass texture! <BR><BR>The heavy uses the armor you just made, but on top of that, you add on a hood, regular mesh, likewise retextured Dwemeric brass.<BR><BR>Then you retexture brown the cloak from this resource: <A class=bbc_url title="External link" href="http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13215" rel="nofollow external">http://tesnexus.com/...le.php?id=13215</A> and attach the mesh to the armor. If possible, lengthen the cloak 'till it reaches just a bit above the ground. Another option would be to use the cloak from here: <A class=bbc_url title="External link" href="http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29934" rel="nofollow external">http://tesnexus.com/...le.php?id=29934</A> with the skull replaced with a gear, like those in the daedric gates.<BR><BR>Then you go down to the small knife scabbard that's on the right leg of the armor (yeah, it's hard to see) and put a scaled down Dwarven knife into the sheath, which will require some modelling. Then, you add the pistol from this mod to the left side of the belt: <A href="http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28088">http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28088</A><BR><BR>And that's about it!<BR><BR>Thanks for reading, and for the love of Sithis, POST! </P>
Xeivous
what is with you and your love affair with the shrouded armor set?
kieranfoy
It's not an affair. We're happily married! Seriously, it's my favorite armor. Slim, deadly, and yet looks dangerous.
Norinvaux
Meh, I'm not a big fan of the vanilla shrouded armor, but I've seen some pretty awesome variants of it. IF this gets done, it'll be awesome!
kieranfoy
That's a good point. A lot of the variants of shrouded armor out there are better than the actual armor. The Shades Armor from Kvatch Rebuilt, for example.
Thor.
I don't mind Shrouded armour, it gives you a early decent enchantment if you join the dark brotherhood at start.
Deleted1848331User
Thor. has a point. At the beginning, IF YOU DON'T CHEAT (:whistling:) It has decent enchantments on it for a beginner. Just set a guards hp to 1, and punch him ;P lol. But anyways, I hope this gets done, because it sounds cool, although I haven't even heard of steampunk. monkybuttface
Great, just PLEASE no clashing between hood and vampire (or was it vampire Khajiit? or just khajiit?) I noticed some issues with original shrouded hood.
