@Genzel: This is truth. There's not enough.

@Moneky: Nah, not a problem. It's to use the regular hood mesh, which doesn't clip with anything, I don't think. Well, it'll sue that mesh if anyone ever does it.

Enjoy your new kudos, both!

@Beef: Thanks, I do hope so.

@EVERYONE: Sorry, the first post seems messed up. Here it is again.

Yep, you heard me, steampunk.

And assassins. How cool can yah get?

Do note: this requires retexturing and adding meshes to armor meshes, which involves weighting. If you can't do that, all you can do is give emotional

support (which is appreciated.)

So, it works like this. There are two version, a light and a heavy.

The Light: You take the shrouded armor (using the UFF replacer for the female mesh) and remove all the buckles, straps, knee-guards, pauldrons, everything that can be removed EXCEPT the belt. Then, you retexture it brown, a nice dark (but not too dark) brown, maybe using the leathery brown texture here: http://webtreats.mys...runge-textures/

Then you color the belt brass colored, like with this texture: http://www.noctua-gr...tal/brass01.jpg or possibley the dwarven armor texture. Merging a gear from one of the daedric gates or suchlike into the belt as a buckle is also a plus.

Then, you merge onto the armor the pit leather boots and guantlets, also retextured to the brass texture.

The mantle-like area around the shoulders? Brass texture!

The heavy uses the armor you just made, but on top of that, you add on a hood, regular mesh, likewise retextured Dwemeric brass.

Then you retexture brown the cloak from this resource: http://tesnexus.com/...le.php?id=13215 and attach the mesh to the armor. If possible, lengthen the cloak 'till it reaches just a bit above the ground. Another option would be to use the cloak from here: http://tesnexus.com/...le.php?id=29934 with the skull replaced with a gear, like those in the daedric gates.

Then you go down to the small knife scabbard that's on the right leg of the armor (yeah, it's hard to see) and put a scaled down Dwarven knife into the sheath, which will require some modelling. Then, you add the pistol from this mod to the left side of the belt: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28088

And that's about it!

Thanks for reading, and for the love of Sithis, POST!

Heh, I learned something new today. Never heard of steampunk before. Anyway, I did wiki it and it seems like these are all kinda like gadgety things, so shouldn't this steampunk suit be activated rather than constant effect to simulate turning on the steam powered gadget? Maybe it has a little animation when activated and steam shoots out for a few seconds? Also, would this be a stealthy suit? Sounds like it would be hard to sneak around in a suit of gears and whatnot, although I don't know what the thing does, maybe it generates a sound dampening effect?

Don't think the outfit has any effect, so... not sure what you mean.

And, yeah, stealthy. It's just Dwemer inspired awesomeness. Not sure it'll even have gears. The bow, that has gears, but not the armor...

Sounds like it would be cool if someone skilled in Blender will try to make such armor.

It's good that you described making process realistically so it will be easier to him to implement your idea :)

I love steampunk and assassins both ;P

Just think it needs more gear on the belt (like thief tools belt) and be more baggy that shrouded armor (I beleive I used right word).

@Nealus: Glad to hear you like the idea. I did try to make the heavy version fancier, but I suppose asking for more stuff ont he belt would be a good idea. I'll add a few things.

Enjoy your kudo. ;)
