stricken618
Hello, all. I'm currently having problems with using idle poses and sexy walk at the same time. I have read places that it could have something to do with build order but I can't seem to figure it out. Here is my load order: Oblivion.esmUnofficial Oblivion Patch.espDLCFrostcrag.espDLCThievesDen.espDLCOrrery.espDLCVileLair.espDLCHorseArmor.espDLCMehrunesRazor.espDLCBattlehornCastle.espDLCSpellTomes.espKnights.espDLCShiveringIsles.espUOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.espOblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp_Ren_BeautyPack_full.esp_Ren_BeautyPack_onlyhairs.espElves Of Lineage II.espAlluring Potion Bottles.espHarvest[Containers].espHarvest[Containers] - Havok Crates Add-on.espHarvest[Containers] - Flat-Top Barrels Add-on.espSW01Minus.espDMC Stylish - Specialanims.espIdle Pose Replacer.esp The SW01Minus refers to Sexy Walk at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28720 The DMC Stylish refers to the combat and idle animation replacer at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16459 The Idle Pose Replacer refers to the following http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27344 I have narrowed the problem down to the conflict of the specialanims folder. For Sexy Walk to work, it has to be the only item in the folder, or so it seems. I've tried using the original version of the idle pose replacer ( http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16500) and placing specific files into the specialanims folder. It is only the idle pose that won't work for the one handed sword, turning left and right will activate the proper pose. For no weapon idle, it won't work at all unless I disable Sexy Walk. If someone could please help me, I would be very grateful. I am using the Steam GotY Deluxe version of the game. I have obse running.

stricken618
Okay, I figured it out. For anyone else who may look here to find a solution to the same problem, I'll explain... There is a mod named Mayus Animation Overhaul, or MAO for short, which forces NPCs to retain all the vanilla animations no matter what is in the _male folder. So, as long as you send custom animations to the _male folder, they will only apply to you. Because Mur_Zik's Sexy Walk has an esp. file, though, you can not put it in the _male folder. Instead, it must be placed in the specialanims folder. This is okay because the mod is not anything complex and most other animation mods have files that can be placed in the _male folder and still work. As long as Mur_Zik Sexy Walk is the only mod in your specialanims folder, it will work without conflict. More than one animation mod in the specialanims folder causes them to conflict and not work. This forces the last specialanims mod in your load order to be the one that ultimately works. Leaving the others to be absent in the game. You can find the MAO addon at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19796 You must follow the link on that page to get to the actual download, but there it is. There are also two videos explaining how MAO works and how it should be placed in the load order. Watching this video is crucial to figure out how it works with any other animation mods you wish to load. I hope that anyone else experiencing this problem finds this post and is able to remedy it.
