I don't know if this already exists.

 

I have been looking for a mod which totally converts Skyrim, basically making the player live a life like the NPCs.

The player could get a job around town or in one of the armies. They would have to eat and sleep. I think it would be great to get away from the main quests and have the player live out their life like any other citizen of Skyrim.

 

If anyone knows of something like this please let me know, otherwise this is a request for the modding pros out there!

Well there's a Professions mod, where you can take a craftsman job. In vanilla you sorta can join an army already. As far as needs go like eating and sleeping, there's Realistic Needs and Diseases, iNeed, and Eat Sleep and Bathe. I'm sure there are even more than that, but there's plenty of mods that you can use to RP. Don't forget to check out mods like Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions so you can take advantage from extra beds added from mod-added homes and to move your spouse in as well.

 

My personal favorites:

Needs: iNeed

Hunterborn (if you want to play a hunter, best when using a needs mod)

Frostfall (Skyrim is cold!)

Wet and Cold (Works great with Frostfall)

I'll take a look at those. With the army thing I was looking for something that expands it into more than just that quest line.

I've always wanted to be a guard,why don't create a mod in which you can earn a job,or choose a citizens life,there is a mod named "hall of begginings"

But when you choose a life,like a guard life all you get are guard clothes,other guards still treat you as a citizen.

Yeah, there's not a lot for being a guard or a member of the army. There are some mods that allow you, when using the armor of a certain faction, people think you are part of that faction, but that is not quite the same thing really.
