Valkyrie
Is there any reason I can't, or shouldn't, go a cell or 2 offshore in the ocean and use a height map to create a new island? I see most of the islands are in a new world space and was wondering if there was a reason for this. Thank you.
David Brasher
Go ahead and make a new island in Tamriel. One of my mods does this. There should be less conflicts with islands than with cave openings or houses you place on dry land. I suspect some people place their islands in new worldspaces to have easier control over distant LOD. Also, any new worldspace ends up being an island by default. So unless people went to the effort to make their worldspaces non-islands, all the new worldspaces you have ever examined would have been islands.
