HairballPaul
Hello, I've got a lot of experience with Oblivion and Fallout mods, so hopefully I've avoided any novice mistakes, but I can't seem to get FOSE to run properly. (And yes there is a lot text but I'm trying to avoid the usual debugging requests for more info :P) Problem:As you can see from the load order below I have DarNified UI installed, but the in-game settings menu is not showing up, and this generally means that FOSE is not running. Futhermore, when I installed Arwen's tweaks I seem to remember it telling me it preferred to have FOSE on (even though I had installed FOSE well before the tweaks). This leads me to believe that FOSE is not working. When I start up the game there are no error messages or anything of the sort. Is there anything which should appear in-game to 100% verify whether FOSE is loaded? Like how DarNified UI has the logo in the bottom left corner of the main menu. Background Info:Windows 7 Ultimate 64-BitAthlon X2 7750 Dual-Core CPURadeon HD4670 512MB2GB RAM Game Info:Fallout 3: GOTY - Purchased from Steam a few days ago (I re-bought it after losing my original DVD of it some time ago). Fully updated through steam to 1.7.0.3.All DLCs come with it, yada yada. It's installed in the default place (program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\fallout 3 goty) but I have enable everyone to have all permissions with those folders so hopefully it's not a UAC issue. It's the latest FOSE, re-downloaded and installed about 30 minutes ago (same problems still exist). Is there a way to check for sure? Does anyone recognise the issue? Can it be fixed? Thanks a heck of a lot for any replies this gets, I'm normally the lurker reading other people's forum entries to fix stuff, but I've been attempting that for a few hours with no success.
