xbox 360 controller

im attempting to use the xbox 360 controller for playing fallout i have all of the software installed, i'm using a wireless controller via play and charge kit, so it registers, how do i set it up to play ingame

Welcome to the Forum. The plug and charge kit does not make the controller wired, it only charges it. You need a receiver that plugs in to your PC or a proper wired 360 controller.

Xpladder cost money. Try using JoyToKey & ControlMK since there free. I used it fo playing Morrowind & Oblivion.

well thanks for welcoming me,and thanks for the controller thing, the spending of money on the receiver dosent sound very interesting, im gunna save the rest of my money is going to the Penny Arcade Expo in seattle soon..Gotta love Washington :)

You can pick up wired 360 controllers very cheaply.
