however it would be rather amusing to have him follow you swearing every few minutes while killing walking etc haha

 

If it is cursing you want, try Jericho... you'll get plenty from him no doubt!

 

There is that, but Desmond is so awesome. He's like Jericho + Charon + he's so full of himself. I think he'd be great. I agree with mikabears that he'd be a handful.

You don't have to conquer much scripting to do a companion, Odile. If you ever want any advice or a sounding board for ideas send me a PM. I've done an extensive improvement to Charon and would be happy to talk about Desmond with you; I started out not knowing much and figured it out; it's definitely doable. The vision and desire is what is most important, I think, to make something interesting.

 

Aw, thank you for the offer of help/boost of confidence! I definitely appreciate it. :) Maybe I'll go read up on some tutorials and see what I can wrangle up.

Yes! Beeps and irritation and comedy probably. It could be interesting because he has so much personality. Most of the companions are so dull.
