-ship battle

 

Φcan walk around the deck by yourself and look through spy glass.

Φfire cannons

Φboard enemy vessel

 

-Boarding battle

Φ ships look damaged .

Φboth you and your enemys ship are connected by planks.

Φcan run around in third person (not sure about first) view

Φyour crew will fight the enemy crew with you

Φwhen you win can take all the cargo and sink the enemy ship or capture it for yoursellf.

If I remember correctly, Pirates of the Carribean (which would have been Seadogs 2 originally) and Age of Pirates use the exact same engine, so I guess if they made it better than the second game, it might turn out to be fun.

 

If you're keen on a pirate game, though, you can't go wrong with Sid Meier's Pirates!

i have no idea, i never tried it or had to do it unless i got cought in a storm or attacked. other wise i would just use this map thing that movd you fast.

One more question. If you sail in spyglass mode who long will it take to sail from one town to another and is the time like one second is one minute in the game about?

 

If I remember correctly, if you don't sail on the world map, after a while the game speeds up, but I've never done it for long enough to see if you can reach another town.

well the few times i got caught in a storm after i got out of it i was further down on the map towards my destination. i would assume the same principle would apply when you wanted to sail all the way.

hmm...not quite sure actually but i know you can speed up the game really fast.
