Brother Martin Quest

Hi All!

 

I have done the Kvatch Oblivion Gate quest, and the Siege of Kvatch quest.

 

Brother Martin follows me or not, depending on whether I tell him to wait here.

 

Brother Jauffre at the chapel doesn't recognize Brother Martin.

 

Keeps telling me my first priority is to find Brother Martin, who is standing right behind me.

 

The Secret Agents outside Weynon Priory don't recognize Brother Martin.

 

If I kill the Secret Agents, sigh, it gets counted against me as a murder.

 

I think I messed up by getting Brother Martin to follow me before the siege of Kvatch quest completed.

 

Question(1): So what in-game trigger is Brother Jauffre really looking for?

 

Question(2): any way to use a command-line feature to get beyond the Brother Martin quest?

 

Any other way to repair the quest?

 

Edit(1): There is a dead monk on the ground; didn't check his name. The secret agent guys just stand there with a mean looking mace in their hand doing nothing. If I talk to them they say "I'm waiting," "Make this quick," or something like that. They don't detect my PC or Martin as a target of opportunity. No one says anything about the Priory being attacked. No one with a hammer shows up. Brother Jauffre does kill the secret agent guys inside the chapel. My best explanation is that some in-game trigger somewhere has failed to operate. Jauffre and the secret agent guys think the trigger is still ...untriggered. The trigger probably gets set somewhere during the Kvatch episode i.e. before arriving at the Priory with Martin.

 

Edit(2): I have discovered the secret of Martin's quest; evidently the quest is not broken after all. It seems all I have to do is "activate" the prone friar in order to trigger the Weynon Priory part of the quest. I suppose I could kill all the secret agents before doing so; but that would be an "exploit," yes? My thanks for all the helpful replies.

Are the secret agents attacking the monks and the other guy? Is prior maboriel dead? When you arrived at Weignon Priory with Martin, the guy who gives you the hammer (can't remember name) comes up to you and says the place is being attacked.

I don't know. Just slaughter all the assassins like the pigs they are. That happeded to me once at WEYNON Priory. Just went into chameleon and sliced their throats.
