DSLmaster
Hi guys, this is going to be very theoretical. You have been warned. :D I just did some math and created a diagram in excel. There is a strange thing about the AP and HP damage. First of all I bought some strong weapons like the medicine stick or the "lil Devil". Then I loaded them first with HP then with AP bullets and calculated the Damage. The strange thing is, that in the Numbers the HP-Bullets are nearly every time stronger than the AP bullets even against enemies with strong armour. for instance (Medicine stick):Damage HP (all together with Skill and bonus): 143Damage Hand loader (AP) (all together with Skill and bonus): 98DT enemy: 15 Hand loader: 98-15DT+6AP= 89 Damage HP Bullets: 143 - 15DT x 3= 143 - 45= 98 Damage The turning point should be between 19 and 20 DT. Ok looking fine in Numbers. But, and that is the problem, I got the perk where I can see the DT and HP of the enemy I am currently fighting and that is not working against the scorpions at Big Mountain (Big MT) I am doing less damage than I should. Do they have a lot of damage resistance or something? Or did I miscalculate?
MarchUntoTorment
The Scorpions in OWB have substantial damage resistance, yes, on top of their DT. And I've always found AP ammo useful for high-durability opponents. Particularly, an Anti-Materiel Rifle with AP rounds absolutely destroys those scorpions.
