Help, Male Characters Are Invisible!!!

Recommended Posts

I have installed quite a few mods, 1 of those being Eschme.

The first time I noticed the problem is when I initially removed my male character suit.

The character was not naked, his body was completely invisible.

Then I noticed that all the females bodies are OK (maybe due to another mod),

but all the male bodies are invisible!!!

I can only see the heads but not the bodies when they have no clothes!

I have also the impression that some animals are invisible too.

I loved very much this games and all the mods I have installed make the experience even better!

I would be very gratefull to get any advice on how to fix this problem.

Many thanks in advance!

Y.

Open up your Oblivion data folder and goto "textures\characters". Under each race which is having the problem, delete or rename the "male" folder. For the creatures, either delete or rename your "textures\creatures" folder or figure out specific creatures are having problems and delete/rename just those.

Why would you want to see the male characters. All you need to see is the females....

I totally agree and besides the male bodies in oblivion are ugly anyway. in a way its an improvement.

Sure, but then you have to deal with floating heads coming up and hitting you every now and then. Also makes it harder to hit them with arrows. More importantly, it just looks odd. Given the options of; seeing nothing, seeing female parts on male characters (well, you wanted to see more breasts right?), or seeing male characters, I think the last would be the least disturbing.
