hickd
I found that some mods, when you join a faction, didn't have a faction icon, and I was wondering where I could find the faction icons, in the oblivion texture folder. I can't seem to find them in Texture > menus, and was wondering if they were in a special folder. I just want the ones for vanilla oblivion, such as the mages guildranks ones, and fighters guild. Any help would be much appreciated.
chuckdf
The icon textures are under Textures/Menus50/Stats. You have to unpack your Oblivion Textures BSA to get to them though.

jhthomas512
To add your own faction icons, simply create a Textures/Menus50/Stats of your own, in the data/Textures folder of your game. Make sure they are 100x100 and are in dds format.
bobbyskel78
some custom factions decided to use large texture files, even w/ some of the thumbnails they won't show up properly w/o that enabled. i know i had that problem w/ one mod in particular. pretty easy to find the texture file though and just readjust using a standard one as a template in gimp. hell, create your own, make it a mod, find a pre-existing one and just copy and paste over it w/ the modded ver.if one associates gimp w/ dds files, it should show in the preview window ... mine does. (note: ya need the dds plug-in w/ gimp)
