Left click only does power attack

Hi,

Today I opened Skyrim with SKSE as always and as an enemy showed up I unsheated my swords and tried to attack with my usual "combo" (Left Click -> Right Click -> Left Click & Right Click "Power attack") and the left click didn't work, then I tried again and discovered that I can't do normal attack with the left click, it works only if I hold it for the power attack, but the real problem is that I can't shoot arrows anymore, I tried with different arrows and bows but nothing make it work.

 

Any solution?

But off the top of my head, I seem to remember that there was a time just when Dawngaurd was released that a certain mod called "Killmoves" wasn't up to date and it caused an issue with only being able to power attack.

 

You might be using an outdated kill move mod.

Install that

 

Run the APP

 

skyrim\data\FnisBehavior5\Tools\GenerateFNIS_Tools_forusers

 

This is likely an animation issue maybe that will fix it.

Nope, didn't fix it (It was in Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users for me).

The only thing that I can come up with is that you have a mod that is out of date and effecting the animations.

 

There are a few mods I don't recognize

 

Wvexpansion

expandedskyrimeaponry

tearofabyss

isilnarsil

bluecreakestate

 

Mod that I know requires a patch to work correctly which is not available on its original page.

Thief Tools

 

Don't care for it or its patch because even then it was just a mess for me.

 

A Google Search of your problem

 

Suggests that its an issue that was resolved by Bethsada over two years ago...

 

So it just comes down to these factors.

 

Your choice of mods and/or improper installation/removal of mods has invariably caused your actual game system to be overburdened either through low performance or bogged down script system, in which case its time to consider starting a new game.

 

Your using a mod that is out of date and replicates the issue. Mod such as "Killmove(s)" will specifically cause this issue or at least it did in 2012 in which case your current game is ruined and you must start a new game.

 

You had a mod in the load order that was out of date caused the issue and removed it but the issue persists in the save game irregardless.

 

You have an outdated copy of Skyrim in which case connect to Steam and Verify your games integrity...In which case you likely have to start a new game.

 

You have gotten your expansion pack from some other source than Steam, as in you got Dawnguard specifically illicitly. In which case you could get banned if suspected of having stolen content.

 

 

Please remove Theif Tools and unknown mods, unsub from Steam mods because I have no idea if they are up to date. Then start a new game and see if the issue persists.

 

If the issue persists, it may be that your choice of script mods and eye candy mods are too much for your system, therefore you will have to cut down on the mods list you have picked out.

 

What I don't know is have you replicated the issue in a non-modded Skyrim in which case however I would be a bit suspicious. In this case its one of 3 things, computer is not good enough, something else is wrong with computer, or something is wrong with your version of the game.

Unmodded, uninstalled, re installed it, start a new game; Nope, didn't work.

At least you tried :c

BTW, those mods add more weapond and an estate.
