GrindedStone
Well you could drop the DLC improvement kit D I K whatever, it's a modular part, because not everyone has the DLC. It's a touchy subject, seems like anytime you mess with a DLC you break it. I've tried fixing the actual DLC's (yes they are broken somewhat, more like dirty) which broke it even worse in the case of the Pitt. No big deal just re-install the DLC an it was working again. I know the new updated version of FOOK2 is probably much better than the first few versions. However, I'll probably never use it again, just because it was so dirty an problematic in those first few versions. Overall I think the project has gone far far away from it's roots of being a simple overhawl of the game. Plus the dang thing is so spread out I can't even tell what I need to install it, in what order, or even how to start. So being lazy an not wanting to fix that poop anyway I just stopped using it after that test. It took straght up 16 hours just to fix that one mod to work with 80 other small mods. The main problem you'll have isn't FOOK2 it's the stuff you are using with FOOK2. In the same amount of time you can build a list of 80-150 other mods which take about the same amount of time as FOOK2 to fix so you get the 4-8 hour games... FOOK2, FWE, XFO, WMK, and so on, all those problematic mods just are not worth the work it takes to fix them to work with other mods. So you either use it by itself, with tested mods, or not at all. I vote not at all. Overhawls two thumbs down! It doesn't really matter, so long as you keep building new fresh installs with mods you'll learn enough to avoid problems so just keep doing that...
