DXDXUSER
After being away from Skyrim for a few months I uninstalled and reinstalled it to clean up the scripts and make sure I had a fresh start to add the bajilllion mods I missed out on. When I reinstalled it, all of the Data files came packed in BSAs (I don't remember this happening before, but whatever) and all was well except when I attempted to unpack the textures bsa and got the message "System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown". Nothing I tried so far helped. Causes? Fixes? Thanks
gamefever
You really need to clarify what you mean by unpacking the BSA. For what reason did you feel you needed to unpack the BSA? Which BSA? Do you mean to say that all the mods you downloaded came in BSA? There's only a few reasons to unpack a BSA. You intend to alter the files. Or you do not wish for a mod to overwrite the BSA files (works best with MO)
DXDXUSER
Sorry that I wasn't clear. I do intend to alter the textures bsa. When I reinstalled the game, as I said, all of the files usually found in the Data folder came packed in bsa format (Sounds, Actors, Textures, etc.), I extracted all of them so I could manually install some mods and the only one that didn't work was the textures bsa which gave me the error message.
