gigantibyte
No doubt this has been discussed before, but in Oblivion the player could carry containers like pouches. Great for sorting things and keeping sets. A mod exists for giving the player a portable container in the form of a gunny sack, and though I appreciate the modder's efforts, it's not as easy to use as Oblivion's pouches, and the player can only carry 1 of them. It seems that since the portable containers existed in Oblivion, the object type must have been deliberately removed in Fallout 3. Why would they get rid of something so handy? BadPenney
There is also at least one backpack mod. Maybe the inventory management system of Fallout 3 was designed to be more consistent with earlier Fallout games which are part of its lore and less like Oblivion, which is not.
