BOSS for Oblivion

FYI for all community members,

 

Since the development of LOOT, BOSS for Oblivion has been in general decline and went untended for the past seven months. A terrible shame in my humble opinion since BOSS has always been the go to software for Oblivion Mod load order management. While LOOT is a great program that works well for other games, it is not developed to the point of being able to successfully structure load order for Oblivion. BOSS on the other hand has a time tested system that actually works. It only requires the Masterlist to be updated and tweaked on a regular basis.

 

In light of that I have recently taken up maintenance of the BOSS Masterlist. An update was published today which added 133 mods and patch files to the Masterlist. I still have a backlog of submissions to sort through and add in, so it won't be completely current for at least another week. But the ball is rolling again.

 

If you know of mods or patch files that are unrecognized please post a submission here. Be sure to include the exact esp name, a link to the download in case I need to research, and any dirty edit info. If you have suggestions for load order placement please include that as well.

 

You can also submit unrecognized mods directly through the BOSS GUI from your pc desktop. You will need the Latest Version of BOSS. If you have an older version, uninstall and replace with this one.
