Hello Community,

I recently downloaded the above-mentioned mod (Megaton Outdoor Shower) and wanted to try it immediately. When I arrived at the location that should have had the shower installed, I just saw a row of mesh errors (red diamonds with exclamation marks) instead of the water pipe.

I checked the mod in GECK, as the only active plugin and with exactly the same plugin configuration as the game, and in both cases the pipe was clearly visible. I had steam check the game cache and installed patch 1.7 multiple times, but the error remains.

ArchiveInvalidation should not be the cause, all replacers work just fine, and I don't think the plugin would be affected anyway, since it uses no custom files (well, none besides the plugin file itself).

I also tried enabling it as the only mod in game, that didn't work either.

Does anybody have any idea what I could do to solve that?

All esm files are enabled, and the Archive List in the config file seems to be OK, too.

I'm not familliar with that mod (or the Steam version of Fallout 3 for that matter), but from the mod description it seems to require the DLCs Anchorage and Zeta. If you don't have those (or if they are disabled) you will have problems.

It might also be that the DLC files aren't in the right folder. If they were downloaded separately they might have ended up in a Games For Windows Live folder instead of the Fallout3/Data folder. If that's the case, you will need to move them to the Data folder instead. Check out the Technical Support thread or the FAQ. It should have more info.

Thanks for your reply, and sorry for my late answer.

Yes, it's the Steam GOTY version. How did you know that? I checked, though, and all the DLC files are inside the game folder.

For some reason GECK loads the meshes and the game can't find them. Could the file path be too long? After all, Steam creates those "steamapps\common" paths on top of the path to my games folder.
