I started with many many mods.... about 150 but always been a bit uneasy with OBSE but i give it one hell of a go and still come up with problems first i followed the instructions of the 2 dll. and exe. copied into your oblivion folder with the existing exe. and came up with you are missing "fastmm_fulldebugmode.dll" so i search and search for an answer and finally download the files which are quite messy with 3 folders and 6 loose files and eventulluy stick the right files into the bethesda/oblivion directory i then use OBSE again and use the loader, this then came up with me going onto Oblivion and my downloaded videos for the startup appearing but no startup menu as in continue, new, load, save etc. but the moment i turn OBSE off by deleting the files it works.... but i really want OBSE because of how good the mods are which use it! I've reinstalled it about 10 times and reinstalled all my mods every single one on Oblivion Mod Manager changing menus and even downlaoding new menus again... CAN ANYONE HELP!!! Ps LOVE NEXUS YOU RULE!!!

my system:

Intel Quad Core i7, 64 bit, Windows 7 Home Premium,12 GB, NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 295 - I know this is a bit dull but i got NVIDIA's 3D Capability and that has had problems before with some games sometimes...

It sounds like you are using OSR and running it in debug mode. Try just running it with the OBSE base files and see if it works. If you have Oblivion installed in the default location, make sure the Users group has full permissions for that folder. You can also try running obse_loader.exe as an administrator. If that doesn't work try adding an exception for oblivion.exe and obse_loader.exe in Data Execution Prevention. If you are trying to run OSR make sure the .ini isn't set to run in debug mode and set the heap replacer to mode 5.
