DarkeWolf
More than likely its an issue with your actual game, than it is with mods.Ever since patch 1.02 there's been issues with scripts not loading items correctly into games after they have already been loaded up into a game on a prior character. An issue that I refer to as savegame bleed-over. Essentially, the scripts are reading that they've been spawned on a character already, and thus are not respawning the items on new characters. What you need to do, is DEACTIVATE (uncheck) the mod in your list of mods either in the game list, or in the da modmanager list (seperate program available for download that can install mods) BEFORE starting up the new character. Play the toon until you can get to a save point. Create your savegame, then exit dragon age. REACTIVATE (check) your mods that add items to inventory, then load up your save game. They should then show up. Do this with ALL new characters. For characters that have already been created, I'd recommend hdhd's additem script. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1131however, this mod most likely isnt included in that script, so you will most likely have to edit it in yourself. This is not very hard to do. You simply need to have the name of the item(s) which you can get from the .nss file of the mod itself. which is most likely contained in a .erf file in the install folder in either your override folder, or your addins folder. those are located in documents/bioware/dragon age/addins documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override/"mod's folder name" Once you find the folder that the mod is located in, you have to open the .erf file in the toolset. you can get it by google search for "bioware dragon age toolset" or "fileplanet dragon age toolset".just drag n drop .erf files into the toolset until you find the one that has the .nss file in it, and then tell it to open it with notepad. you can then copy and paste the "itemname.uti" into hdhd's script, finish it with a semicolon ( ; ) yada yada yada. I believe that hdhd included instructions on how to add items to the list. Good luck :)
