Huge Bug! Duplicate Items!

Found a huge bug in oblivion. Allows you to duplicate items... here it is, along w/ a possible explanation of why this works.

 

------WARNING-----This bug is irresistible to use... don't read if you don't want it. I am hooked on it now.

 

 

 

First, get a bow and arrows. The no. of arrows is the no. of times to duplicate the object. Hold fire so the arrow nocks and open your inventory. Click the arrow (the screen will say "You cannot change items while attacking"), then drop the item you want to duplicate. If it works, you will drop as many potions/clothing items/ingredients as you have arrows (including the original version). This does not work with certain keys and unique items, such as the Gray Cowl and Nirnroot. You cannot copy quest items (i.e. the blade of Woe) as you can't drop them. It doesn't seem to work when copying other arrows, however. If you drop items in packs of certain numbers (say you drop a pack of 5 Poisoned Apples, you will get no. of arrows packs of 5 poisioned apples.

 

The bug probably is buggy because you are shooting an arrow, so the arrow variable is reset to, say, 149 (if you had 150 arrows). But you are also dropping something, so that is reset to 149 as well.

 

Give me your own theories and opinions on this.

You NEED arrows equiped on your charactar to do this? I don't understand you, could you use correct grammar?

 

 

 

 

Oh, I get it now, you weren't using bad grammar, just abreviations! You need an arrow in firing mode, and, drop, and duplicate. I just hope this isn't fixed in the 1.1 patch :unsure: !
