Jonzey Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 Hey, I'm having a problem with my timescale in Oblivion. Originally I had it set to x60 because I thought it would be much more epic if time passed so much faster, but now I'm using a bunch of realism mods so I want to change it to x15 or something. Originally I tried it in the Cobl options menu (I forget where the actual option came from... Might have been OOO) but when I go back to the game it changes back to x60. I've tried changing it in the console with SetTimescale to 15 but that also does nothing. I even installed a couple of timescale mods and put them at the end of my load order hoping they'd overpower whatever's doing it, but no such luck. My Oblivion crashes everytime I exit so I use FastExit, and I know that means I have to use saveini if I change SetTimescale, so I've dont that. But everytime I check, it's gone back to x60. It's driving me insane. Please help. Oh, and while I'm here, every few seconds every single human character flashes green. Also a lot of NPC's are bald and have black eyes, which I assume is from one or two mods clashing. I'm not so bothered about them but any help would be greatfully appreciated. And as for the glowing green thing, I actually like it. It's like, with realistic fatigue and basic hypothermia, it seems like my character is constantly falling over or panting or coughing and is basically totally inept as a ranger/thief, but she has this one superpower granted to her by the game, somehow, which gives her a chance at killing that lowly rat or wolf. ArmeniusLOD Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 There is an option for the Bashed Patch to set the timescale and works for me. It is in Globals:Timescale[1]. Right-click it to change the value and rebuild the patch. It also looks like you need to BOSS your load order again because BC Imperial City and UL Snowdale should definitely be loading earlier.
