override?

im new to all this stuff on modding and such, i just found an interesting mod to change the skins of your mabari. in the instructions it asks me to replace the files in C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

 

but i dont have the override folder, it just stops at this C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\packages\core and then in core i get some other things but there is no override folder. is this something else that i have to install?

the override folder isnt created by a default install of the game. Its created when you install the toolset, or a mod installer program like DA Modder (DAM) or DA ModManager (DAMM).

You can manually create the folder by going into Core, right click on an empty area of the folder, and choose new, then folder. then simply name the file override. (no caps).

OR you can go into core, and then go up and click File, then New, then Folder.

 

And that should be all that you need to do ;)
