s14 Posted September 1, 2010 Share Posted September 1, 2010 I've been successful in making dialogue as well. :D A tip: your character will still say default oblivion greetings/rumors in addition to your custom voice. You can avoid this by adding exceptions to the default dialogue. You can google how to, key words 'remove default npc dialogue oblivion'. Also since my companion is going to be quest based, I made use of the quest stages tab. Very handy for determining what topics should be shown at what stage of 'getting to know' the companion is. Also try opening existing companion mods. I studied CM partners. I've managed to transplant the AI packages Blackie uses there for my standalone mod. Now my NPC eats, sleeps, practices, etc. on a daily schedule :D If he's not following me that is. Still have severe problems with my companion attacking me if I hit him accidentally tho... I've managed to stop him from attacking me when I commit a crime, but he still reports it and then actually helps me kill the guards that he calls >.< male without a father.
