[uPDATE] Obsolete. Must have been something with the saves in Denerim.... Loading first a considerably older save of another location actually worked. After that I was able to load the Denerim one.

Hi all,

I wonder if there is a max limit of mods active at any time (incl. official DLCs).

I use the ModManager 1.9d to organize my mods (http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=277)

Atm I have (incl. official DLCs) 32 Dazips and 32 overrides.

just wanted to add another Override (actually two, but it doesn't matter as the issue occurs also when I only add one - both show "no conflict")

Now none of my saves would load.

When I remove the new Override, the save would load without problems.

I patched the daorigins.exe already to allow usage of >2GB RAM as per http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/227036-dragon-age-crashing/

specs:

Win7 Ultimate 64bit

6GB RAM

ATI HD 4870 X2

Core i7-920

anyone experience with that or an idea? Haven't been able to find a topic related to this behaviour, so sorry if this was already discussed.

Any hint or advise appreciated.

Best Regards

Basically it comes down to what kind of mods you have installed, and what your computer can handle.

Keep in mind that this game is a serious drain on system resources as it is. The more ingredients that you throw into the soup, the thicker it gets, and the harder that it is to digest.

its possible that there actually is a conflict that isnt being detected, or that there's some broken/missing files in the two mods that you're trying to install. Or that these two mods turn the game into something that your machine can't handle.

Which two mods was it thats causing the problem?

What exactly IS the problem? Will the saves not even start up? Will they just hang at the "Loading" screen? What?
