igor140
ok, here's the deal: i have been using both oscuro's oblivion overhaul and px vampire overhaul together for a long time (like, since they were each released). i AM using the px_vampire_ooo.esp (or whatever it's actually called). but every time i try to edit something in the px file-- ANYTHING-- the game refuses to load. i have tried resetting the changes i made to their defaults and trying again... no luck, still locks up on the initial "bethesda" title screen, and i have to manually shut off the computer. this first happened a couple months ago, and i had to entirely reinstall both OOO and PxVamps. so fast forward, i am now trying to change the time requirements for age changes in the scripts. there shouldn't be any problem at all with the script (it would at least load to the main screen even if there was), so this confuses me greatly. i have modded TONS of stuff for both morrowind and oblivion, including existing mods. the ONLY thing i can think of is that because these two mods are co- dependent, they must be loaded in a certain order, but i have tried moving them up and down in the load order in the mod manager, in just about every conceivable combination... is there something i am missing? thank you. CJD
they could be conflicting with each other. try one goin without the other. and c how it goes. :D
Vagrant0
After your edit, try making it so the Px Vamps mod is first. When you change or add a new mod, it gets added at the end of the load list. You may also want to check of conflicts, not only between these two mods, but with other mods. When there are minor conflicts, it usually takes the settings of the last one to load.
