FOMOD Creation Help

Hey,

Nevermind now I figured out how to make it.

 

But I still have issues.

 

It is 400MB in size.

 

And I can't find a way to make it smaller to upload to the site.

 

Can someone give me advice on how to make it smaller?

(Without taking stuff out or splitting it into two)

However should you have any more advice on the issue I am all eyes =D

I know you don't want to split it... but what if you have winzip make it two or three different files? That way you just download part one and two or whatever, then when the user extracts it from the first zip, the next parts are automatically extracted as well, leaving one complete fomod file to work with. Or... maybe zip a zipped zip? Sorry but that's all I got :confused:

I just bit my lip and accepted fate =P

 

I split it into two files. =(

But at least I know they work like a charm when activated together.

 

Ah well.

All I gotta do is finish up on the esp, get some permissions for some more optionals, take some updated screenshots and this mod is ready to Storm the nexus once more! =D

Have you cleaned your mod with FO3Edit? If you use it to seek and remove identical-to-master records it can dramatically reduce the size of your .esp.

There is no .esp only textures, all that's inside there is .dds files I have created...

So theres nothing to clean up.
