Freezing at 2 Weeks later

I completed Project Purity, then I moved on to Point Lookout. I saved and quit... then when I load any point after that it brings me back to the 2 weeks later point (after the Project Purity stuff), gives me the option to level up, I put in the skill points, move on to the perk selection, and as soon as I select a perk, everything freezes. No matter how the conversation plays out (I tried every option) in the 2 weeks later scene, this happens, and it doesnt matter which skills or perk I pick either.

I'm not sure what informaation is needed other than this, but I'd be more than happy to supply anything else that leads to a fix.

p.s. I realise the scene was supposed to take place directly after the PP quest was completed, but it didn't, and I 'm here now.

Edit: So I went to the load point at the release of Liberty Prime, played through the final battle, and it loaded a lot better since I put BS before PL, but it still froze upon choosing the perk at level up.

2. and it loaded a lot better since I put BS before PL <--Source of corruption in saved game.
3. but it still froze upon choosing the perk at level up

And it always will.

Start over, deleted any saved games currently stored that had (out of order data) in them.
