Nightvision compatible mod?

I'm running FWE,MMM,EVE etc and a bunch of other mods.

 

I'm looking for a night vision mod that will not break my game.

 

I tried advanced recon armor with darnified ui texture icons but my game would always crash before it even got to the main menu.

 

Preferably a mod with just the.goggles.

If it crashed prior to loading the menu, that means that it is missing a master. Find the master file, and it should work OK.

I don't think that was the case as it was a .fomod install so the masters were int he load order

This might not satisfy your requirements, but you do know FWE includes night vision functionality on the power armor helmets, right? If I remember correctly, you toggle it using the numpad plus key, though this should be configurable from the FWE control panel. If you aren't also wearing a suit of power armor along with the helmet, night vision will drain your small energy cells over time, I think.

 

If that doesn't work, try Helmet POV. It has a bunch of configurable vision-related features.

There is also Alexscorpions Animated Nightvision Goggles:

There are two versions you buy from Flak and Shrapnel's, a normal pair or a pair that are attached to your helmet. There is nothing listed under Compatibility, so you might try that.
