dareus
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and so i will ask my first question here. Probably everyone knows that in original Morrowind v 1.2.0722 restoration works this way:Your attribute level = xActual attribute level (after damage attribute) = yFortify effect = zif y+z<x restore sets x=x-z in other words if you have an item that fortifies an attribute, when you restore it your attribute becomes permanently damaged. Removing the fortifying item makes restore work correctly; my problem is that the fortify effect comes from the birthsign (which i cannot unequip)! I know that there's Morrowind Code Patch that fixes this problem but it works only if you have Bloodmoon and Tribunal installed (which i don't have). Anyone knows another way to fix this issue? blister5
The first thing that comes to mind, and is easy, would be to use a cheat. you can use player-> set(attribute here) (amount here) so if you had the "Lady" birth sign and your endurance became damaged and you couldn't restore it you could do this= lets say your endurance was 100. it gets damaged 5 points. player-> setendurance 100 put that in the console command box opened with the ~ key. hope that wasn't redundant. I tried it but remains an issue: I was Endurance=75 fortified by Lady +25 I got damaged and followed your advice and restored it to 100 BUT now my endurance normal level is set to 100 and i cannot increase it when i level, this way my endurance is bounded to 100 when i could go to 125... the fortify effect is still notified in the status info... blister5
I see. Well I'm not sure how to help you out with that one. It may be a case of cheating with your endurance until all your stats are maxed and you are satisfied with your character. Sorry I couldn't help further. Good luck.
