Downloading from tesnexus

so I'm trying to download a mod from tesnexus and now that I got to the "Downloading file" window it won't start downloading. I've been waiting for half an hour now and poo just dosen't happen.

 

Now normally I'd tell myself that it's some error on my part and follow those handy little advices about enabling javascript and HTTP redirects. However the thing is it worked just fine about an hour ago when I downloaded better cities. So does the amount I can download cap, is tesnexus servers down or is some sadistic witchdoctor playing tricks on me?

 

EDIT: The forum automaticaly censcor out 5hit with poo? Seriously :dry:

 

Even moar EDIT: It's only with Dallas and Seattle that I get stuck at the download window. With maidenhead I don't get past selecting server, it just says waiting for fs5.tesnexus.com

Did you just turn off all your Internet windows and go to the same download page and try again? This happened to me once too.

Yes, the forum does automatically (tries anyway) censor certain words. This is an attempt to keep things civil here. Your cute attempt to circumvent the filter has broken a rule and has gotten you a strike

Problems with downloading are almost always on your end. Try another browser - if you normally use IE, try Firefox or Chrome. Any filters you have set up, such as to remove ads or filter porn, (Yes - some porn filters will filter us because we do allow what they consider porn) can have an effect on downloads also. By using a clean - un filtered browser you may be able to get your download.

 

Many workplaces and even schools will block popular download sites as well because downloading does use up their bandwidth. Try again during off peak hours and you may get through.

 

Also, sometimes the site does go down (like every site) for periods of time. These temporary outages can be due to very high volume of downloads - look at the number of users on a particular site. These are usually short lived so wait a while and try again.
