robertkor
lol but a nice cold beer can relax youok after fiddling around ive hit my limitations i can mesh the hilt/fur area and apply around1-2000 hair to it. it gives it a slight furry look but no where where near what it could be this is due to limitations to my skill and my computer

robertkor
ok here http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn66/trebor_the_armbreaker/tess3.jpg?t=1283482389 the red is a mesg im distorting around to form the base of the fur instead of relying on just pure fur, it will take some major texture work on your part but, the effect should be quite nice
Deleted1848331User
That should work wonderfully. I had an idea. Why don't we form the base for the fur with the hair like in the 2-D picture with the fur, then add a thin layer of fur to make it look like it? Then I'll still have to texture it... but not as much. I could probably get ub3rman to give me a few pointers when I start lol.
robertkor
yeah thats what i saying, the base shape of the hilt will be textured with the added bonus of the fur, it wont be 100% fur like that once version but it wont cause computers to explode either
