Problem With Save Manager

Hi, I am new to the forums, and (obviously) have a problem. I did pm the mod maker, but he doesnt seem to be an active poster, so I thought I could ask you all for help!

I used two plugins. First, the Oblivion Save Manager. After having some of my save files corrupted, and then not being able to quicksave (the file became automatically corrupted, booting me back to desktop) I then switched to the TES IV Save Manager. I am still having the same problem. (Note: I have deleted the corrupted files, including the quicksave.ess [NOT the .bak] and tried to save again, repeatedly.)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

How about the .tmp? I did that in Morrowind, and it really screwed with my life. I have something similar to what you have, the incremental saver, and it works just fine. If the Oblivion Save Managar makes different saves when you quicksave and autosave, you should switch to the Incremental Saver.

Where can I find the .tmp file? Are you suggesting that I delete that as well?

And thanks for the incremental suggestion, but I would rather just go back to the default save scheme, once I get the save system working again.

The .tmp file is in the saves folder. I deleted that to clear my saves in Morrowind, and I couldn't autosave or quicksave. SO DON'T DELETE IT! Otherwise, you're screwed.
