Mage Armor?

Hi everyone

 

Well, you could always just enchant some heavy/light armor in the CS. Works fine.

 

I don't really use magic - I've always prreffered stealth, combat, stealthy combat, combatty stealth, etc. I do have a mage though - she doesnt use armor. Most of the time. She uses daggers and staves to keep baddies away. Buyt i dont see why shield wouldnt work. unless, of course, you find using the editor to create some new 'armor' unfair or unblanaced.

 

In fact, while im on it, heck use clothing! Cheap, lightweight, flexible, never breaks. Works out.

 

But, you know, if you REALLY wwant the look of armor, without the weight and necessary skills.......you could always go into the editor, usee the meshes and textures of the preffered armor, but under clothing. Then enchaant it. Voila! Armor replicas! (Clothing with the look of armor, and protection, to)

Ummm... Where did I mention using the Wrist Irons? ...

:glare: You didn't mention the Wrist Irons. That was the problem. You listed clothing for the body, head, and feet, but neglected to mention the one 'clothing' type item you can wear on your hands instead of armor pieces (gauntlets or bracers).

 

I forgot: rings and amulets can be enchanted to convey shield effects, too. Eight individual slots available. A bit of overkill, in truth.

 

 

 

 

 

Well, ok, if it floats your boat. I mentioned gauntlets because they're most commonly used in speech. But what if you want to wear different rings/amulets/etc...? Nevermind. 40's enough though, more than an Arena Raiment. I just mentioned the things I wear, however I did modify the ring of vitality (perhaps for myself, perhaps not) to have a 40% shield. Everything added up comes to 85 for everything I wear at their stats.
