Lawlder
This is a bit of a silly issue but indulge me. I haven't played this game for some 2 years but got back to it again. I wanted to continue where I left off, a mage character. He's supposed to look something like this: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/c8b9/ef86mdh0goanhafzg.jpg But when loading the save 2 years later now the poor sod turns into a monster! http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/93cb/ee4h9h3702pzitazg.jpg I figure, easy problem in itself I just don't have the specific mod whose custom textures the character is using. But is there any way to find out what I need to get him working?I don't remember if he is fully my own doing or if his morph was borrowed from a mod and then further edited by myself, but I don't know if that even matters really. It's not like I HAVE to use his face but he just looks so much better than anything I can conjure after all this time away. If any of you whizzes know what's going on I'd appreciate it. I'm somewhat capable of using Toolset if I know what I have to do. Edited December 5, 2014 by Lawlder
theskymoves
To determine the assets used by a morph when the MOR/MOP/MRH is not available, first extract the player character MOR from a saved game with the Dragon Age Face Replacer. I believe the texture and hair mesh names can then be viewed (or replaced) by loading the MOR in the same utility... if that is not the case - I may be mis-remembering as it has been quite a while since I last played DAO - the DA Toolset or a GFF editor (such as pyGFF) can be used to access and edit the data. And if you want to retain the original textures and hairstyle, it is a matter of using the file names to track down which mods the textures and meshes came from. Edited to add that if the missing hair is the "Duncan" style, sans earring, like this:http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/140/images/4077-2-1393881674.jpg then that is included in More Hairstyles Edited December 5, 2014 by theskymoves

You were right about the hairstyle, I got that working. I believe I have traced the problem with the skin to the scar the character is using. However for the life of me I can't find a mod with a scar like that. I went through all information I could find and everything in my character's face seems to be vanilla content from the eyes to the stubble to the skin. But the scar is from lands abroad and I can't figure a way to remove it in Toolset. Edited December 6, 2014 by Lawlder

Dragon Age Redesigned. It's one of the DAR for Dragon Age Toolset files.
Lawlder
Yeah, that was it! Now it works again. Thanks for the help. Now I just gotta figure out how I'll make a functional .mop out of it... I did successfully create one but didn't include half of the facial features that he has in the save.. Must be features only available in the Toolset so that's where I need to look I guess.Oh well, time to do some googling then!
