Thandal
OK, so I decided to go ahead and get GoA since I didn't quite have enough points for WH and needed to purchase more anyway. Bumped my account up to be able to get both. Account credited, I fire-up the game, wait for "Available Content" to sort itself out, and select "Golems" to "Buy". I then get an almost immediate error message of: "Your request could not be completed at this time. Please try again." (Not "later", just "again".) Been this way for going on two days now. :( The BioWare Social forums have about a half-dozen threads reporting the same thing, (I posted to the one at: "Can't get Golems DLC" at BioWare Social) but I'm hoping that someone over here knows more than what they (and I) have gotten in the canned responses from EA's Customer (Non-) Support techs. After three back-n-forths where I explained that I had already tried both "in-game" and at the direct, stand-alone DLC download page, I finally got "Your issue is more complicated than we first realized, please be patient." :wallbash:
RustyBlade
"Your issue is more complicated than we first realized, please be patient." :wallbash: Translation: Our webmaster is currently passed out, face-first in a pizza box. As soon as he comes to and sobers up we will have him correct the problem with the download servers. :woot:
Thandal
Weirdly, it seems from the reports of other users that NONE of the other DLC has this problem. Folk are successfully getting everything from TSP and RtO, to LS without issues. Only GoA is MIA. I absolutely will not test this by trying to get the only other (released) one I don't yet have, "The DLC Which Must Not Be Named". ;D But if the same thing occurs next Tuesday, when I expect to be seeing a certain Witch of the Wilds again... Well all I can say is that it's a good thing Edmonton is so far away! ;D
RustyBlade
I looked when I was in game and it doesn't show up in mine either. The DLC that shall not be named does. I noticed it about a week or so ago and attributed it to them not selling enough of that DLC and wanting to confuse and trick the foolish masses (typical EA trick.) Thandal
So... I have received reports that the issue has been corrected! Over TWO DAYS of people letting EA know that there was a problem, and nothing done.PC Disapproves: -50 to EA. ONE HOUR after Nathan Willis pops up on the BioWare Social forums with a post to say he was just tipped-off about the problem (wonder who might have done that...? :whistling: ) and he was forwarding it to the DLC Team, and it's FIXED?!? PC Approves: +15 to Nathan! Way ta' go, Nathan!
