Wolfdoggie
Was wondering if there was a way to completely reset an NPC and restore him to location. I killed a few guards in town and they respawned naked with no inventory. I think they were ones I killed with a deadly reflex finisher. Also I used the Astral Combat spell with Midas Magic on a few guards to teleport them to Astral Realm and killed them there. Eventually the guards respawn still inside astral realm with no items just like the ones in town. Some respawned as just a head and no body or undamagable by physical attacks~ like they were ghost. The console still targets them and kills and resurrects them but they're still the same. Is there a way I can fix these respawned guards or make them respawn properly? Deleted1217574User
Yeah. Open the console, and target an affected guard. Insert these commands: additem 0002521F 1 <--- That will add a silver longswordadditem 0018AE4B 1additem 0018AE4C 1additem 0018AE4D 1additem 0018AE4E 1 additem 000653F7 1Those will all add a full set of armor to the guard.additem 0018AE4F 1 <--- That adds the helmet. I included it separately, since not all guards have them. You can go on the UESP for steel bow, silver arrow, and whatever else codes, but those are the basics. You'll have to do that to each affected guard, unfortunately, so it's a matter of how dedicated you are.
fundip206
with DO finishers it depends which if you used a sword, resurrect both parts and see which has armor, keep that one and kill the other (they will both respawn as normal people but one will have no ai and clothing)if you used a blunt weapon, then your one have to do what raithfyre said
Wolfdoggie
Is there a way to move the ones trapped in Astral Realm back to their location? What about the guards who are ghosty and immune to attacks? Is Deadly Reflex breaking them into 2 NPCs and respawning the wrong one or something? Deleted1217574User
You could try the command "moveto icmarketdistrictafightingchance" for example, they'll hopefully walk back from there.
Wolfdoggie
I just tried using that moveto command but it doesn't do anything. Says invalid object reference and etc. Actually I just noticed that the broken respawned guards have IDs like "FF008C51." I think they are evil clones or something and the real ones are missing. :( They talk and stuff but don't move around and can't pickpocket them. What if I disabled them forever with console, would it cause the real ones to respawn?
Deleted1217574User
Hm. I dunno, then.... Could try using placeatme, but since they're NPC's that probably wouldn't work, eh...
Wolfdoggie
It doesn't really matter though. The guards who respawn broken are missing AI and don't have the correct ID, they are lies that Deadly Reflex created. :( Their true bodies have vanished after being cut in half or heads smashed and dunno how to fix them. :o
Deleted1217574User
... or heads smashed and dunno how to fix them. :o I think there's a Cannibal Corpse song about that. If you want... You could try deactivating Deadly Reflex, loading your save, then saving the game, so that it removes all traces of DR. Then, just reload the mod. You'll have to redo your settings and hotkeys and everything, but it should work, I think.
