Fallout 3 GOTY GfWL will not die!

I used GfWL for awhile but now that I try to disable it well... it will not die.

 

When I start Fallout 3 with FOSE it crashes.

When I start Fallout 3 with a fake xlive.dll it crashes.

When I disable GfWL with the GfWL Disable and start it crashes.

When I start Fallout 3 with GfWL enabled it works.

 

I went through the entire campaign with no problems (well it CTDed once but that is to be expected).

It still works perfectly until i try to disable GfWL

 

Q: What do you mean crashes?

A: Once I start playing it will CTD or Lock up within about 5-30 minuets, and it Crashes on exit.

 

Q: Are you using the Steam or Retail version.

A: Retail.

 

Q: What OS are you using

A: Windows Vista 32bit with UAC disabled.

After some serious tweaking I have eliminated most of the lock ups; however, it still crashes on exit.

Oh well. It is still fun as hell.

If you get the Games for Windows Live Disable mod, then log out of your profile in game, it will stop gfwl to stop loading. Other than that, I don't know

It is probably my computer. There are way too many third party programs installed.

Tried it on the neighbors computer, and everything ran fine (yeah he was happy).

Oh well, everything on my computer is essential so I'll just deal with it.

I have the same sort of problem though mine is just that it causes the computer to freeze when I exit the game. I uninstall FOSE and all is well.

Folder permission set to Full

Disabled (to the best of my knowledge) GfWL

 

Any Suggestions? I'd really like to be able to run FOSE because of the goodies in Darn's UI.
