Kazakovich
Conspiracy theorists are barrels of fun! Some of the more interesting theories are great fun reading. Sure, your braincells might file a complaint or two, but it's just entertaining reading it anyhow. Now, there can't possibly be people out there that DOES resemble the usual stereotype (A closely knit group of people gathering in their basements or garages wearing fabulous tinfoil by the bucketload), but reading some of the more obscure stuff out there, it's not very hard to imagine that there are. One nice prank I'd like to pull off sometime would be to contact them and introduce me as part of an even larger agency which also have discovered what they have. Like, say... Sending them a cryptic letter from the Central Council, Section Five, with additional instructions and the likes. Additionally, I'm trying to make up a conspiracy theory of my own, a little experiment in how far I can push a concept before it becomes a far fetched mess. Who knows, someone out there might even think it's true. It'll be great fun!
dragon6510
Conspiracy theorists are fun yes but completely stupid. There are few science organizations that were trying to resolve that mistery and came up with resoult that the landing is real. They made same conditions in special rooms and tested all of it. I would give you link if I knew the page for that - I watched it on TV and read about it in books... so all other people who think it is conspiracy just like they think 9/11 was conspiracy can go f*** them self if you ask me.
kieranfoy
Conspiracy theorists aren't really stupid, they're just so emotionally invested in whatever idead they have in their heads that they'll ignore, rationalize or twist any evidence that threatens to disporve their sacred cow. Just goes to show, our emotions should always be in the firm grasp of our reason, or we'll end up like poor Glarthir.
bben46
I have personally known several serious conspiracy theorists. When not discussing their pet conspiracies they can be rational people. However when they do start on their pet theory - it varied from one to another, but there are several common themes. One - The government is hiding something important from us.Two - the news media is in on it and will not report the truth.Three - everyone else is either blind or a total idiot because they cannot see the obviousFour - something terrible is going to happen because of what they know.Five - their own life is in danger because of their knowledge. I heard some convoluted reasoning that 'absolutely proved' the theories - and ignored some glaring loopholes in logic.
RedVexHK
One: The Government is ALWAYS hiding somethingTwo:The news Media is on the inside with the Government (at least where secret agendas go)Three:Only a Conspiracy Theorist can see the REAL truthFour:They Always know something awful (that no one else does..) So something Terrible MUST!!! happen...Five: Of course Their life is in danger....evil MIB's want to silence them. You also forgot Six: Tinfoil hats keep the Alien mind probes and MIB mind control waves out. LOL!!! ok..... I do think there are some REAL conspiracies.. many have even been brought to light.. Watergate being likely the most infamous.in more modern times Contragate as it became called.. Poor Oliver North.. CIA supplying of Al Qeda and the Mujahideen with weapons including Stinger missiles to fight the Soviets (look at how this comes back to bite us)Yes there may one day even be evidence of something more sinister.... Media doesn't like to play with Government... so being in on it is unlikely...The Moon landing was obviously faked so that our astronauts wouldn't be in trouble for trespassing on the Alien moonbase making them mad at us.. LOL
AnelaidLives
What the theories seem to forget is that a lot of countries sent unmanned probes to the moon, Japan sending one less then a year ago, and that we had more then one moon landing. Am I supposed to believe that all of them are fake, and that the whole mess surrounding Apollo 13 never existed? And that we spent millions upon millions to do absolutely nothing for it.
