MidbossVyers
In terms of the items (AKA not counting the gold or the fan), is the only reward for doing Arena quests the various versions of the Battle Raiment?
alonsomartinez
Yes it is quite disappointing I was thinking of making a reawrd for all the appropriate names If you choose Crimson Blade you get a red blade If you choose skullcrusher you get a warhammerThe black arrows you get a black bow and arrows etc etc
MidbossVyers
Yeah, about the titles, besides choosing one of the presets, can you make your own?
shaklee1
Yeah, about the titles, besides choosing one of the presets, can you make your own? No, you can't make your own unfortunately. It sort of makes sense really, as when you choose your name, the Battle Matron - Ysabel Andronicus - actually mentions your title, as does the announcer every time you walk into the arena. I would imagine it would be incredibly to have the voice actors voice EVERY single possible title if the player were to create his or her own title. I mean, when you create your class at the start (where Baurus believes you're an experienced something-or-other and you can either say yes, pick from a list of classes or create your own class), it's not like anyone mentions your class in voiced dialogue. All it is is words on a screen. It'd be cool if someone could mod this little feature that would allow the player to create his or her own title. I don't know, perhaps it could use universal silent MP3s.
Amoramor
I thought of the same thing when I first played the Arena. Actually, I think that most of the "rewards" in Oblivion are quite disappointing. The gold rewards never go past 200 gold, it's almost the same not to do them, because you don't benefit from them at all. At least some item rewards are pretty good, though. Axxaw
The Arena gives the best reward of all, getting to abuse the Adoring Fan for the rest of time muahaha. *enter mastercard joke here*
