pizzalover3000
So I imported a reference of an arrow and quiver into 3ds max, changed a few things and then put it back into the game... I started firing pitch black quivers with my bow... I would like some help either with pointing me to a good tutorial that would help me... or just some general help... lol
Ph0rce
Hmm. The pitch black problem is likely from vertex colours; or rather, lack thereof. If you haven't set vertex colours in 3DS Max, but still have them active in your nif, the model that appears in the game will default as pitch black. Simple solution is to disable vertex colours in the nif (found under "Shader Flags 2" in your "BSLightingShaderProperty"). As for the quiver, you've probably got the quiver assigned to the wrong part of the nif. Get a hold of a vanilla quiver and arrow set, then copy/paste in your new content, following the structure of the vanilla nif. I had a WIP thread on this topic over on TES Alliance last year. Not sure if it's still there, and I haven't got time to go looking at the moment. I had some of the same issues as you, and some of the content there may be of help. Can't remember the name of the thread, but my Alias there is "Oriius". Hope that helps.
