Buffer overflow in oblivion cs

Ok, so i thought i'd start this topic to report a possible buffer overflow.

Recently I entered the new version of the oblivion construction set to create a new mod. This went fine until i reached the AI editing, when I clicked on any AI package in the package window (accessed from toolbar) or on an NPC's AI settings the CS froze. This happened 100% of the time so i did some research on the net and discovered other people had this problem and in fact one was even on this forum, It appears that this is an issue with vista and windows 7 (not sure if it is just x64 or not). So after looking around for a while i decided to check my event viewer and discovered that i had received a BEX event at the crash of the CS and after doing some more research i discovered this could be a buffer overflow. I would assume it to be a buffer overflow as it happens when i click an AI package. I also tried version 1.0 of the CS and it worked without issue so I believe this is a new bug with version 1.2.404 of the Construction Set.

I run the game and CS on Windows Vista (x64) what would you suggest I do? Should I report this on the Oblivion forums as a bug or can i fix it myself?

Also if anyone can confirm that it is a buffer overflow would you please post in this topic to save me the time if it isn't?

Thanks for Reading, HawkMoth 101

I run Oblivion and TESCS on windows 7 64 bit with few more problems than I had on win XP. Both programs are buggy but I've managed to work around them to do what I've needed to do including creating and editing AI packages. I've heard that Vista users have more severe problems that can't be worked around.
