Can't seem to get VioLens to work

To be specific, the options show up in the MCM menu and all, but it seems to be impossible to stop the game from forcing it to be last enemy restricted, regardless of what I have toggled in the MCM.

 

I had the same problem with The Dance of Death, which is why I tried to install this one instead. (also, do these mods use scripts? Because I want to minimize the amount of things with scripts I have to remove, but don't even know what has them and what doesn't.)

 

Here's my mod list if it's necessary, LOOT didn't tell me about any conflicts though.
