Large database of mods. Which ones will give me scenic beauty and kill

Hello all.

First real post.

Bear with me please. I tend to jump around with my thoughts

And I do not do the forum thing very often.

TES4 Oblivion is a great game I just regained my interest in.

I am addicted to adding mods to my game to see what they improve apon or destroy( in alot of cases for me.)

I have amassed a prety large mod database of other modders work which is beyond my skillset.

I recently messed around with large compilations like TCOM and OAVO and mixes of OAVO and other less heavy mods. Body replacers, anims, armor, quests, etc...

I learned how to use basic features of WryBash, OBMM, BOSS, etc.

And started installing mods like mad. BIG MISTAKE.

I have the game running with several mods and they are all blue in OBMM.

But I have a couple that wil not load in bashed patch. They are OAVO mods and read like I need to update the file format in the mod checker. And the OAVO mod comp appears to need updated as well.

The game runs great indoors with no lag or stutter.

But once I get outside I move around a bit and the game starts to chug along and seems to be constantly loading one thing or another until it either CTD's or just plain freezes up.

I know I am most likly going to have to clean re-install everything. which is no problem I have nothing but time.

My question is to you guys that are far more adept than I am.

If I give you a list of the mods I have.

Would you guys and gals reccomend the best of the bunch that I can put together with the least ammount of trouble?

To get the max benefit of adult eyecandy ( yes I am a perv, get over it) , gameplay, visuals, that I see in some of the better screenshots from the modders themselves?

I do enjoy adding the mods and on occasion wiping the whole thing and starting over.

But I would really like to play the game entirely with some new content and far less crashing.

I will wait for some responses before I list all my mods. It is going to take some time to get a screenshot of all that. might take two. as I am not a super techy dude.

Thanks all. : > )

Let me link you to a Oblivion Overhaul site that is a compilation of visual mods

Appreciate it. I will check it out ...... what link? :whistling:

I probably already have all the mods that the link would contain.

Getting them to play together nicely with my choices of other mods is what I am going to need some guidence with.

It seems there needs to be an updated "MUST HAVE MOD compilation" that are not from 2006.

Does anyone have anything like this that does not require a degree in archival research?
